Hello!!! Being here means you're just as passionate about education as I am! And TOGETHER we can close the achievement gap!

MY name is Kristine and I am a 10-year+ passionate educator, with a Connecticut State teaching license in Special Education for grades K-12. I am currently the Reading Acquisition Department Chair and Special Education Teacher at my school. Throughout my career, I've worked in public, charter, and private schools and provided tutoring services for my church.

This website serves as a purpose to use my passion for EDUCATION to provide academic enrichment to families who want and need it. I'm here to lend a helping hand to the hardworking educators out there. I'm here to support families who may be unaware of special education and its services. I'm here to give children the FULL education they deserve. I'm here to dismantle the achievement gap by being the bridge that closes it!

Reading:

Decoding & Comprehension

Your child will receive help with phonics skills to become a fluent and accurate reader.

They will receive additional help in using critical thinking skills to make comprehend, analyze and make judgments about what they read.

Writing

Your child will receive help with writing skills to create coherent sentences tailored to their grade level and needs.

Executive Functioning

Executive Functioning is essential for self-management and daily living skills. These cognitive processes include memory, organization, self-control, flexible thinking, attention, and task initiation. Your child will get help with these essential skills by playing games, simulating real-life experiences, and identifying the areas in which these skills are necessary for their daily lives.
